Our History

In 1997, the first Congolese immigrants and Refugees who resettled in Greensboro, NC got together and formed what was then called the Congolese Community at Greensboro, for mutual support and Cultural bond.

In March 2019, das the number of Congolese immigrants and refugees had grown tremendously in the Piedmont Triad region of NC, with crucial needs that were scarcely being met, members of the Congolese Community decided to incorporate their association as a non-profit organization to provide a culturally competent structure were Congolese Immigrants needs are addressed, and Congolese heritage is preserved.
